I have a lot of craft books, but for this picture I pulled ones that are among the most useful in my collection.
Day 19: Supplies

My Xmas present from Spicy finally arrived--a Will Taylor 2yd skeiner in oak. i haven't done anything yarny in awhile so I haven't used it yet but now i can finally throw out my crappy plastic umbrella swift. yay!
Day 20: Finishing

this one was difficult because finishing is something i am not so good at. i set aside my color wheel HST quilt because i decided that i hate it. i've been working on a selvedge spiderweb mini this week. the guilt of another unfinished quilt is starting to get to me and now i'm thinking about using the spiderweb blocks for the backing and just getting this thing done. so maybe i'm on my way to a finish?
Day 21: Crafting Accompaniments

this is sad. it had been so long since i ordered my stuff from Loom N Essence that i forgot that i bought a lazy kate in addition to the skeiner. (by the way, if you want anything from Will Taylor, I highly recommend this shop. Sharon is very pleasant to work with. just be prepared to wait awhile.) this is a 6 bobbin clever kate in mahogany. i haven't spun in a long time so i haven't tried this one either, but it's just beautiful. we said goodbye to my ghetto kate but the hooks and the wood will live on.
Day 22: Contrasts

Grays + Brights. probably my favorite combo.
Day 23: Inspiration from Clothes

Spicy and I went to a thrift store and i got this BR silk skirt. it's much too large for me but I'm hoping creativity will strike. The fabric is really pretty.
Day 24: Up Close

my lazy kate swivels to reveal a compartment to hold the brass rods when you aren't using it. pretty neat!
have a good weekend.
Mmm, pretty skirt! And I agree: brights with grays never get old. Lovely images! I'm feeling pretty guilty, because I still haven't made attempts to catch up this month.
