I found the pattern to be very clear and easy to follow. I glued the templates to 2 layers of cereal box cardboard, but I could see how having plastic templates might be more useful for a full quilt. The only thing i didn't love is that the piecing is painfully slow. The blocks are 12" so I added borders to make a 16" pillow. I used one layer of warm and white and a vintage sheet and quilted in orange essential thread in a 2" grid pattern.

For the back I did my favorite zipper closure but this time i made a lapped zip. this pillow is now on our bed and is happily loved. Pillows are one of my favorite weekend projects.
It's so cute! Curves definitely take a little longer, and there are more pieces. You did a great job, though! And yes, I love making pillows. Always a good choice.
